Interested in building a gate? Attaching doors to our dome? Repair water spigots? Come volunteer with us!
We are looking for volunteers to support construction projects around the farm. No experience is necessary but we prefer that people are comfortable with power tools. A willingness to learn in important!
What will we be doing?
There's lots to do at the farm! Some current projects:
- Building a wall and frame to add doors on the dome
- Working on the deck beam, putting up siding, general deck work
- Front arch way gate
- repair mal-functioning dome cupola (involves ladder work)
- fix doors on tool shed in driveway (small job)
- build new tool shed under kitchen window
- remove the damaged leanto from the sheep shed
- dig up and repair the water spigot
- remove woody debris from various places, like next to the hay shed, sheep shed, lower drive
- remove debris from goat pasture so it can be mowed/managed do something with the cottage
- A number of digging projects using a powered ditch digger
